“Home is where the heart is”
Ever since I can remember I would pull the listing flyers on every home I saw. I would daydream about the house...where I could improve it and who would live there next. Even in college, when my roommates went home for the summer and specifically said, “Kelli, don’t make our house look like Better Homes & Gardens while we are gone” my response was…. well, let’s just say the interior was painted before they came back! Originally I thought I was going to be a doctor. It took me awhile to find out my true asset was to helppeople in other ways, in their homes.
As a small business owner and licensed general contractor, I have spent the last 20+ years improving people’s homes. My background and experience consist of interior remodeling and staging listings for sale. It is never just cosmetic. It is emotional! Being a Realtor gives me a greater opportunity to help more people realize the emotional value of their “HOME”, the function it serves their family, and all the life transitions a home faces with you. My favorite phrase I have coined over the years, “Nothing is impossible. How much do you want to spend?” It has held true. If you can dream it, I can make it happen.
Raised in Oregon City, I have a vast knowledge of the area and greater Portland neighborhoods. Now, a mother of 2 energetic sons, I stay busy with them, volunteering at the school, and doing never ending laundry! We enjoy outdoor activities. Camping and exploring new areas are among our favorites. Charitable activities are also something we do together. I encourage my children to always give back to their community. Ronald McDonald House Charities has been a great way for my oldest son to realize the impact he has on others no matter how small the contribution.
